The new production of “Beauty and the Beast” celebrates the romance, adventure and magic of the live-action film, weaving in the charm and nostalgia of the award-winning animated feature.
Our very own Audra Stafford takes us behind-the-scenes with Jeff Conover, the master puppeteer for Disney Entertainment. Jeff coordinates puppetry for the many live stage shows, including the new live Beauty and the Beast on the Disney Dream.
Retaining the character design of what audiences are accustomed to seeing from the film, enchanted objects like Lumiere, Mrs. Potts, Cogsworth and Chip look like they jumped right off the screen and into the stage.
