Cameron Mackintosh’s spectacular new production of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s phenomenal musical success, The Phantom of the Opera, returns to Broadway San Diego as part of a brand new North American Tour.

The Phantom of the Opera is presented by Cameron Mackintosh, The Really Useful Group, and NETworks Presentations. With extraordinary reviews from the The Philadelphia Inquirer, Chicago Sun-Times, Chicago Now and more, The Phantom of the Opera dazzles the audience with its storytelling, stunning set and fresh drama.
The show is based on the classic novel Le Fantôme de L’Opéra by Gaston Leroux. The Phantom of the Opera tells the story of a masked figure who lurks beneath the catacombs of the Paris Opera House, exercising a reign of terror over all who inhabit it. He falls madly in love with an innocent young soprano, Christine, and devotes himself to creating a new star by nurturing her extraordinary talents and by employing all of the devious methods at his command.
The set incorporates a brand new chandelier, allowing the audience to truly feel as if they they are apart of the show. The unbelievable set and brilliant costumes brings the classic tale to life once again.
