Los Angeles Auto Show


At the LA Auto Show there’s more than 1,000 vehicles on display and of those more than 65 are world or North American debuts from Mercedes Benz’s throwback to a 1901 race car to Chevrolet’s mid-engine Corvette.

California-based Karma automotive showed off its concept which proves that electric cars can go fast by producing an impressive 1,100 horsepower. There were several movie cars at this year’s Auto Show with Hollywood being just a few miles away.

Attendees can step inside a Land Rover and make their own carpool karaoke video with friends or family. It’s all inspired by the popular segments on The Late Late Show with James Corden on CBS.

Automakers offered free test drives on the streets of LA. More than 50 vehicles participated from the likes of Ford, Fiat, Chrysler, Honda, Nissan, Toyota and Volkswagen. Among many others, Tesla had the longest lines for its electric vehicles.

Meanwhile Subaru hosted pet adoptions at its display during the entire run of the Auto Show. Los Angeles Animal Services and German Shepherd Rescue Orange County were some of the organization’s featured.
